ABOUT US

Based in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (the U.P.), with operations in Northeast Wisconsin, Courage Incorporated was founded in the Summer of 2015.

What we do:

Courage Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization focused on helping individuals and veterans with physical disabilities participate in outdoor activities.  We host excursions that are centered around camping, fishing, boating, canoe/kayaking, ice fishing, hiking, and outdoor cooking.  It is our goal to help our clients achieve feelings of accomplishment and self confidence by allowing them to challenge themselves in nature. We provide these excursions free of charge for all of our participants.

Our Back Story:

Courage Incorporated began in 2015 with a goal of helping physically disabled people enjoy the woods and the water. Our first adventure took place in the summer of 2016 when we took a disabled veteran out on a weekend camping adventure. We received our IRS 501(c)3 charitable organization designation in 2017. Since that time we have been providing multiple excursions each year to both civilian and veteran clients. In 2019 we began to offer ice fishing adventures as part of our programs. This has allowed us to stay active all year long and provide people with some amazing opportunities. Through Courage Incorporated, individuals and veterans with physical disabilities now have the chance to participate in outdoor excursions that might not have otherwise been possible for them.
